A galaxy, made by hand in Greece

NoccoNocco is the work of Sinem, a self-taught glass artist who fell in love with the way light moves through molten glass. Every piece is made by hand in her home studio in Akrata, a small seaside town on the Gulf of Corinth.

The medium is borosilicate glass — the same durable, Pyrex-grade glass prized for its clarity and strength. Worked at the torch through lampworking and implosion techniques, it is coaxed into tiny universes: silver- and gold-fumed nebulae, floating opal planets, crescent moons suspended in perfect stillness.

Because each galaxy is formed freehand in the flame, no two pieces are ever identical. The marble in your hand, the pendant at your throat, the keepsake on your shelf — each is a singular object that exists only once.
