Part vase, part small cosmos: the base of this miniature bud vase swirls with a galaxy marble and a glowing opal, so a single stem seems to rise straight out of the stars. Minimalist in form, mesmerising in detail.
Sinem creates each vase at the flame in her seaside studio in Akrata, Greece, imploding the galaxy and setting the opal into Pyrex-grade borosilicate glass before shaping the vessel by hand. No two galaxies match, so this piece is one of a kind.
