Look down the barrel and a tiny clockwork drifts inside the glass: cogs and gears suspended mid-turn, crowned by a galaxy marble that swirls with fumed colour and depth. It is a writing instrument and a small kinetic sculpture at once.
Sinem builds each pen at the flame in her seaside studio in Akrata, Greece, floating the encased gears and setting the galaxy marble by hand in Pyrex-grade borosilicate glass. The implosion work means no two galaxies match; your pen is entirely one of a kind.
