An antique bronze setting frames a small window onto the cosmos: a silver-fumed glass galaxy swirls with nebular haze, and at its heart a luminous opal planet glows and shifts as the light moves.
Sinem crafts each galaxy by hand in her seaside studio in Akrata, Greece, working Pyrex-grade borosilicate glass with the lampworking and implosion technique before setting it into the vintage-look bronze brooch. Every galaxy is formed freehand, so this piece is one of a kind.
