A galaxy you can explore from both sides. Silver fuming lays a cosmic haze across the front, where opal planets float in suspended orbit, while the reverse opens onto a second decorated scene, so the marble rewards you no matter how it is turned. It is a true showpiece of the maker's craft.
Sinem lampworks this marble by hand in Akrata, her seaside studio town in Greece. Fuming fine silver into Pyrex-grade borosilicate, she floats each opal planet in place and finishes the back with equal care before kiln-annealing the piece for strength. Entirely one of a kind.
