Deep within this pendant a golden flower blooms in the dark, a ghost flower held mid-bloom, its petals fumed in gold and sealed forever in clear glass. The implosion technique pulls the design inward, so the bloom seems to float in three dimensions.
Sinem creates each pendant by hand at her torch in Akrata, a seaside town in Greece, from borosilicate (Pyrex-grade) glass. The fuming and the implosion fall differently every time, making every ghost flower one of a kind.
