Handmade Glass Galaxy Egg with Opal Planet, v605
Held to the light, this galaxy egg reveals a swirl of deep-space colour and a milky opal planet that catches fire as it turns. Stars seem to scatter through the clear borosilicate, giving the impression of a small cosmos frozen mid-drift.
Every egg is lampworked by hand by Sinem, a self-taught glass artist in the seaside town of Akrata, Greece. She builds the galaxy in layers of Pyrex-grade borosilicate, floats an opal crescent moon inside, and kiln-anneals each piece so it can be handled and treasured for years. This one exists only once.
