A pen that plays as it writes: within this hollow clear barrel, a cluster of miniature marbles shifts and clinks with every movement, catching light in a dozen little points. The nib lays down a fine, satisfying line of ink.
Sinem lampworks each pen by hand in her seaside studio in Akrata, Greece, sealing the tiny marbles inside Pyrex-grade borosilicate and finishing the writing tip at the flame. Because it is worked live, this pen is one of a kind, its marbles falling where they may.
