Sinem handblows each of the thirty-two pieces in her seaside studio in Akrata, Greece. Working borosilicate (Pyrex-grade) glass over the flame, she sculpts every mushroom individually, so no two pawns, knights, or kings are exactly alike. The set arrives complete with its board, a genuine one-of-a-kind heirloom that takes considerable time to create.
