Caring for your glass art

Your piece is made from borosilicate glass — the same durable, Pyrex-grade material prized for its clarity and strength. It is built to last generations, and a little care keeps every galaxy as vivid as the day it left the studio.

Handling

Borosilicate is strong, but it is still glass. Hold pieces securely and keep them away from hard falls onto stone, tile or concrete. When passing a marble to someone, cup it in the hand rather than pinching it between fingertips.

Cleaning

• For everyday dust, wipe gently with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• For a deeper clean, use lukewarm water with a single drop of mild soap, then dry gently with a soft cloth.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and harsh chemicals — they can dull the surface over time.
• Never put glass art in a dishwasher, and avoid sudden extreme changes in temperature.

Displaying

Silver- and gold-fumed galaxies come alive in light — a windowsill, shelf or display stand lets the colours shift as the day moves. To keep every nebula at its richest, display away from constant, harsh direct sunlight over very long periods.

Jewelry & pendants

Remove pendants before showering, swimming or applying perfume and lotions. Store them flat in a soft pouch or lined box, away from harder jewelry that could knock or scratch the glass.

Storing

If a piece is not on display, wrap it in a soft cloth and keep it in a padded box, away from anything hard that could roll into it. Kept this way, your galaxy will look flawless for a lifetime — and beyond.
