Large Galaxy Marble with Planet
Hold a galaxy in your palm. This large marble contains a full silver-fumed cosmos, swirling nebulae and scattered starlight, with a single opal planet floating at its center. Turn it toward a window and the whole universe seems to drift.
Sinem creates each galaxy marble by hand in her studio in Akrata, on the coast of Greece. Using the implosion technique on borosilicate (Pyrex-grade) glass, she fumes real silver into the sphere for its deep-space color, then suspends a lab-grown opal to glow like a distant world. Every galaxy forms differently, so this marble is one of a kind.
A centerpiece collectible for lovers of astronomy and art glass, best displayed where light can move through it.
